The commissary doesn’t put the original prices on the receipt so I only have my total with the sale prices.

This is a great example of something I blogged about last week. When commissary shopping, sometimes the best deals are made by combining the store sales with the tear off coupons on the shelf.

The Frosted Mini Wheats were on sale for $2.19 a box plus there was a $0.75 coupon on the shelf. There was also a coupon for a free gallon of milk if you purchased three boxes of Kellogg’s cereal. So I was able to get the mini-wheats for $1.44 a box, plus I got a free gallon of milk in the deal. I did the same thing with the other cereals and also had a bogo coupon from the shelf.

All the items were on sale, and I had some great coupons this week.
