Wow! We gotta stop meeting on the web like this!! Who knows, maybe we might bump into each other at church or something!
:-)

I just now got on your site and am loving it! joined a few days ago. Long hair hippie guy reminded me about it. I"m pretty sure you told me about it in Williamsburg, but I never got on.

I made 3 of your taco bakes this morning for the freezer. I'll pull them out for fun nights, can't bear to feed the family a constant diet of that too much, but i agree it did look yummy!!

You're doing a GREAT job with the site!!

How fun! When we lived in MD, we visited Williamsburg and Jamestown quiet a few times. Beautiful area and SO much history!
Looks like you had a great time!

I would have to agree about the servanthood of that WV family! They always go above and beyond the call of duty...even though they are very busy running their business.

They watched my kids for my most recent birth. They finished up dishes and laundry that I had started. What a relief to sit on the couch after giving birth and see a folded basket of laundry! They are so good at seeing things that need to be done and doing them.

I can see Mom's example rubbing off on her children too. She and I went to visit a friend who had just had a baby. We left her kids with my kids. Her daughter did the dishes for me while we were out.

This family is such a blessing to our family...not just because they serve...but because they always do it so joyfully. What an example for all of us!

You're so right! We have friends everywhere. (I cringe when I hear bad news...my first thought is always, "Who lives there?") They've opened homes and hearts to us all over the world. We've been so blessed to live all over the place - now we know we've left a trail of friends behind, and they know our home is open to them (provided they can handle our cats, LOL) at any time. We're hosting one of my high school friends and her daughter in January.

I believe hospitality is a very important ministry...opening our hearts so we can welcome others is very, very important.

I'm with you. It's not easy to move every two years, but the Good Lord has blessed our lives with wonderful and enduring friendships - some 20+ years on, I wonder how I would have survived without my global supply of friends!
