And so glad that you are enjoying London. Hope the weather's not being too atrocious! A good way to see the sights is on an open top bus tour with live commentary. It is a bit pricey but if you don't have a lot of time it's a great way to spend a day and they throw in a boat ride on the Thames as well. Excellent photo ops! DH is stationed here and we live about an hour north of London. You MUST visit a pub! We're not drinkers at all, but the atmosphere is great. Most are even "kid friendly" before a certain time.
