My husband lived 700 miles away from us for eight months as we where awaiting the sale of our home so we could join him. I had all seven children and he lived in a company apartment for most of the time. After we were back together as a family it was a honeymoon for all of us for about the first month then the next two months were major readjustment months. These stages can be applied to anyone who is separated from their spouse for a long period of time.

My husband is on a 28/28 rotation & I've always joked to friends about how I measure the weeks. Week one home is honeymoon, wks 2 & 3 is very normal, and week 4 we pick fights, annoy each other & I basically pitch him out of the car at the airport. Not like yall go do. God bless our troops.
