This weekend my children joined the “Ohio Polar Bear Club.”
We were on vacation this weekend and the cabin where we were staying had a hot tub.
The kids braved the 35 degree weather to sit in the hot tub on the back porch.
After a few minutes in the tub they decided to take a walk around
the yard, to see if they could stand the cold weather.
After they each took several strolls around the deck the stakes got higher and they
decided to roll in the snow.
Because of their fearless feat in the chilly hills of Ohio the grown-ups decided to make them unofficial members of the Polar Bear Club.
What cute little polar bears! I can’t say I would be dumb enough to do it but it looks fun!
What a great bunch of kids you’ve got there. It looks like they had a blast playing in the snow in their swimsuits.
Oh man! I am not a fan of the polar bear club, but they would be great recruiters!
That looks fun! I guess, for a bunch of kids. I think I did this at my cousin’s house when I was younger.
That reminds me of doing snow angels in the snow one time I went to Park City as a kid and sat in the hot tub. Brrr! but FUN!!

This “happy to be a floridian” mom says they are crazy! You know me….I need a sweater in 70 degree weather. I am glad they had fun though.
Oh burrrrrrr I must be to old because rolling round in snow doesn’t look like fun to me. Of course maybe it’s because I have a TON in our yard right now. LOL
