an afternoon in my hometown of Dallas for me would be eating some delicious Tex-Mex, shopping and perhaps enjoying a museum or seeing a musical at Fair Park.

In my hometown, the perfect afternoon would be flying a kite at the park followed by a large sicilian pizza from Frank’s, enjoyed along the shore of the lake.
The perfect afternoon in my current hometown, Washington, D.C., would be heading to the city and visiting the museums and monuments. It is free and educational! It makes a great day for the whole family or a date.

I started following you a few months ago, but somehow missed that you were in DC. My husband used to work at USDA and would get off at the Smithsonian Station.
He’s at the Pentagon now … as of today. After a year away from the military he’s glad to be back. I never thought we’d say that!!!
