I am a mom of seven. Usually that statement evokes a strong reaction in people. I had heard all the “big” family questions, all the Duggar jokes, and am always asked if we are “done.”
You can read the rest of my article on life in a big family over at BornFree Mom.

I love reading about the dynamics in a large family. I am one of two, and have only one daughter 4 that I am considering homeschooling. You should here the comments I get.
I am from a family of 5 girls (dad always said he didn’t have a chance in our house!) The duck picture made me laugh out loud, I distinctly remember all 5 of us following my mom through the grocery store in decending order quacking…(and we lived to tell about it!)
I have known Happy and DH for several years and have watched their family blossom. It is an honor to know them and I am forever amazed at their parenting skills. I am always inspired by the love and grace they show their children.( P.S. , I have hand picked their oldest daughter to marry my oldest son in 10 years! ) I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Hmm- and I am just now finding this out? lol Apparently you had already told my oldest about your plan, because she didn’t seem surprised at all when I mentioned it to her this morning! Hoping we can come for a visit soon! Miss you guys!
