My favorite chore is composting. Each time I take the under-the-sink container to the compost bin, I can’t wait to lift the lid and see what it looks like. This time of year, the decomposing process is painfully slow. There are grapefruit rinds from months ago still lingering. I found myself this morning looking forward to seeing how quickly it ramps up with the spring thaw.
