No problem, I do realize people might see a disconnect in frugal blogging and bottle feeding. Even breastfeeding moms can use a bottle w/ breast milk if they need to be away from their child for a longer period of time. I agree, I am thankful people are not using sweetened condensed milk anymore!

I was not being judgemental, only curious. I plainly stated that formula should be used for medical reasons, which is the case. I just knew that this might confuse people with a money saving type blog that's all. Formula is great for people with medical issues! Children can live healthier when otherwise they would not (they used to use 'pap' or even sweetened condensed milk in these cases which is very unhealthy--now we have formula). Sorry if I came accross in any other way.

I obviously have no experience with bottles, but I did notice that a friend of mine that I babysit for uses them. Actually I am surprised that you are bottle feeding Cora.

Oh for heavens sake...that comment about formula really irked me. Why are some people so judgmental?

VeggieMomma-
I did not choose formula, I did not produce any milk after Cora was born, because of medical issues.

Just as a general comment--it seems a little odd to me that with so many kids and with you blogging about saving money, that you would choose formula...you just don't seem to fit the profile for formula use, which to me should only be used if medically necessary or if the mother has no maternity leave available...(I believe breastmilk, like clothes and shelter, is a child's right). I'm not expecting an answer, I just thougt it was odd...
