My Pajama Pants Addiction

The internet is buzzing with what people are wearing to Blissdom. I am not a clothes person, and recently I admitted that in the winter I often wear the same pair of jeans all week in order to minimize my laundry.

Here I am at 7:05 this morning.

Sorry for the grainy picture…. It was 7 am….

Cords, t-shirt, sweater and my favorite accessory – Cora. When it comes to fashion, I rely on my friends to tell me that I should get rid of that skirt from my college days, and loan me clothes whenever I need to go somewhere outside of church or the grocery store.

One thing I do know is pajama pants. I LOVE my pj’s. This year Blissdom is once again hosting a pajama party and I have a chance to showcase one of my favorite fashions.

Decisions, decisions, which pair to I take to Blissdom? Blue plaid, red penguin, purple velour, pink polka dots, pink plaid, pink with big polka dots? I love them all, and I can’t decide.

Check out Mom’s Travel Tales and find out what everyone is wearing to Blissdom this year.

Purple velour or pink polka dots!!
I think I might have the pink BIG polka dots in my pj pant stash too!

    I LOVE pajama pants…
And have been known to shower, fix my hair, put make up on, put a cute top on… and then just never change out of pajama pants…

  2. Tonya says:

I love my PJs, too, especially the ones with tops and pants. Never heard of Blissdom. Have to check it out.

  3. Hmmmm…. Lots of choices there. I think I love the big polka dots the best!
I haven’t picked my PJs yet, either. But I did post a picture of me in one potential pair.
Thanks for linking up your Blissdom Packing Wardrobe. :)

  6. Kristy B. from WV says:

I know everyone wants the pink with bog polka dots, but i vote for the red penguins. I love winter PJ’s!

  7. Stephanie says:

So I have to agree with Kristy, you will def be different in the penguins:) LOVE THEM!!!

  8. Chrissy says:

Penguins all the way ! I have a pair of santa pants that I wear all year round because there so cozy . Nothing better then a fuzzy pair of pj pants , slippers and a cup of coffee in the morning snuggling up to the ones you love most !

  9. I would bring the pink polkadots . And the pink plaid. And the pink.

    I’m partial to pink!

  10. Liz says:

I also wear the same jeans all week to save on laundry! Glad to know I’m not the only one, lol! I like either the plaid pajamas or polka dot, cute! I hope to see you at Blissdom!

  11. I vote for pink plaid or pink polka dots! :)

  12. Crystal & Co says:

    I too LOVE pajama pants.

My vote is for the big pink polka dots.
    :-)

  13. Carly says:

I love P. J.’s maybe as much as you. Take the peuguin ones:)

  14. Penguins! Bring the penguins!

And your favorite accessory resembles MY favorite accessory… our youngest baby girl :) See ya at Blissdom! Sadly, I do not have penguins.

  15. Stacey says:

I love my pj’s! I don’t wear them in public, though.
I vote for the pink polka dots!

  16. Bree says:

Pink Polka dots … for sure!

  17. Sheri says:

    I say pink polka dots!
I also wear my pajama pants all the time, although I don’t have as many cute ones as you! Putting my jeans on is usually the last thing I do to get ready. I put them on at the last minute, before I head out the door. Usually the minute I come in the door the pajama pants go back on, as long as I am not planning on leaving again. They are just so comfortable!

  18. hotpants™ says:

Pajama pants are my winter staple.

Ok, ok. I wear them in the summer too.

  19. Hi! Popping by through “The Frugal Map!” I’m another blogger in the Maryland area and just wanted to introduce myself to you.

It sounds like you have your hands full getting ready for Blissdom; however, any chance you are going to the SITS conference in Baltimore?

    Have a great day!

  20. Kim says:

Apparently, just saying “Red Penguins” is insufficient, since I got a dialogue box telling me my comment was too short. I guess I’m just not wordy enough. :) So anyway, RED PENGUINS!

  21. Sarah says:

I just wanted to know what time do you wake up in the morning?

    • TheHappyHousewife says:

Between 5:30am and 7am, depending on the baby. This morning it was around 6:20am. I prefer 9:30, lol!
      Toni

  22. Stephanie says:

Look good at 7:30 am :) :) lol

  23. Sarah says:

    What is Blissdom?

  24. Liz says:

At first glance, I thought you were drinking a cup of coffee!

  25. Mayet says:

your post reminds me to get some for myself ;)

  26. Toni,
I am right there with you on the pajama pants! I even have a pair that look like capri pants for the summer (that I actually have gone grocery shopping in)! My husband finally made me throw away a pair that had been ripped for over a year and I was still wearing them. But they were so comfy :)

  27. Barb says:

I LOVE pajama pants also. I would love to stay in them all day and living in Alaska and dealing with the winter weather doesn’t really help me get out of my PJ pants! I have noticed though a lot of people wear them all the time here, I have noticed many people in the stores wearing them. They are just so comfy ;)

  28. I’m in some right now! I have bright ones, striped ones, polka-dotted ones, plain ones, soft ones…etc and so on!

    Nell

  29. Anne-Marie says:

The purple velour would be my choice.

And you’re not alone with the jeans thing.

  30. Nancy M. says:

I am not really hip on fashion, either. I usually just wear whatever is comfy! I love all your pajama bottoms! They are so comfy!

  31. Sherry says:

LOL! I love pjs, too! I actually have the same red penguin pjs. :D

  32. Pam says:

I would literally stay in my PJS all day every day if I could. Honestly there have been way too many days when if I don’t need to leave the house (other than the bus stop–sorry kids, I know you’ll never forgive me) I shower and put back on another pair of pjs! They’re just so comfy!!!
