Yes, even though this was a really painful time in our lives, it was the friendships we have that helped us through it all. But I must say that the best friend was and is Jesus and without Him we would not have all the friends in our church to comfort us, to pray for us, to love us, and even feed us during that time. Without Him I would not have had the strength to walk into church the day after delivery. Without Him I would not have the strength to stop crying. Without Him I would not be able to know what it is like when the scripture says: "He heals the broken hearted"...Psalm 147:3 Without Jesus I would not be able to have joy in the midst of the darkest days in my life. Bottom line....do not take your friends for granted....and do not take the GRACE OF GOD for granted....he gave us the best friend ever - Jesus, His Own Son! It's easy to take friends for granted so I'm thankful for the time we will have together the next few days.
