We try to focus as much on Jesus as we can. One of our favorite things is an egg hunt just as a family here at home, with the eggs including Bible verses/Resurrection events that, after opened, get put in correct order. Last year, we did the same thing except inside were the names of Jesus. The kids always look forward to it.

My husband and I have always fasted Friday until Sunday lunch. This helps us reflect on true meaning of Easter. We then invite lots of people over and celebrate after church on Sunday.

A few years ago, we started sharing the Lord’s Supper at home as a family after watching “The Passion of the Christ” and while reading the account of Jesus’ last few days from the Bible. It definitely made everything tangible in a new way for my teens!
