Cora the Explorer: The Stapler

Hi, My name is Cora, and I’m addicted to trouble. Remember how tiny I was when I was born?

Many of you prayed for me that I would get bigger and grow to be a strong and healthy girl.

Well your prayers were answered. I am a really strong (willed) little girl. icon smile Cora the Explorer: The Stapler

See, I can pick up this stapler one of my older sisters left on the floor.

Everyone knows you don’t leave staplers on the floor for babies to play with, well everyone except my big sister…

I’ll just take care of that, so mom doesn’t have to worry about someone getting hurt.

Mom always says, if you don’t put away your things she is going to throw them away. I’m going to be just like mom.

It looks like mom didn’t put her shoes away either. Don’t worry mom. I took care of them too!

I love watching Cora grow! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Heather R. says:

I have a 16 month old who does the exact same thing! I always panic when I find that a shoe is missing its mate!

  3. Christin says:

LOL That’s hilarious…although, now you have to constantly check the garbage for missing items!! (or hide the garbage!)

  4. Ginny says:

My 16 MO does the opposite. She removes things from the garbage. Yuck! We had to hide it. Thanks for sharing!

  5. Rachel R. says:

I’m not going to show this to my 14 month old LaRue… she would LOVE to join Cora. LOL She is constantly throwing things in the trash.

I wonder if the American Doll told them to do that? Because my 15 year old loved that idea so much, that she got her doll out and took pictures of LaRue and her doll every month.

My 18 month is likes playing in the garbage. He began with taking stuff out and now he is putting stuff in! :( I’m going to have to find a different hiding spot!

  7. Shannon says:

Oh my gosh! She is soooo cute! If she’s throwing everything away that’s left out, she’s listening to Mommy!

  8. Gwenn says:

Ah! Mine throws everything away too! What is that about??

  9. Stacey says:

That is too cute! I guess you know where to look if something comes up missing! lol

  10. Amanda says:

Love watching Cora grow….to cute her helping clean up…even if it is into the trash…My son does the same thing.

  11. Liz says:

It’s great to see her growing and *trying* to help. And hey, at least she only put them in the trash and not the toliet.

  12. Sharon says:

God does answer prayers. We prayed for Cora when she was born and she is healthy! Enjoy this time – she is a blessing from God.

  13. Ginny says:

I have one of those too. That’s why I only have 7 forks. My dinner clean-up helper put them ‘away’ and mommy never noticed.

  14. Becky says:

Oh I so needed that smile today!! You are a blessed mother and I’m so glad you are able to laugh at and enjoy the process of your children growing. Better yet, you share it with us too! May God continue to richly bless you :)
