Coca-Cola Arctic Home: Polar Bear Tracking

KO ArcticCan dry phase2 R 185x300 Coca Cola Arctic Home: Polar Bear TrackingUpdate: Coca-Cola is introducing the next limited-edition “Arctic Home” can, which will feature the same polar bears with the iconic red Coca-Cola background.

Starting in early December, you will find new red “Arctic Home” cans on store shelves. This new limited-edition can advances Coca-Cola’s efforts to protect the polar bear’s Arctic home.

Have you seen the white Coca-Cola cans yet? Coke is turning their signature red cans white for the first time ever to help bring awareness to the Arctic Home program.

I don’t know about you, but my kids are fascinated with polar bears. They always want to visit the Arctic exhibit and could spend all day watching the polar bears swim and play. The World Wild Fund has tagged five Mama Bears and you can track them with your children on the Arctic Home site. This is a fun winter project you can do with your kids.

Coca Cola Arctic Home: Polar Bear Tracking

Did you know that polar bear cubs only weigh about 2 pounds when they are born? That’s a pretty small baby for a 500 pound mama bear.

The folks at Coca-Cola and the World Wildlife Fund want to know how you go the extra mile for your “cubs.” One of my favorite things to do for my kids is to surprise them with a special breakfast (like donuts or Christmas pancakes) when they aren’t expecting it. Sometimes those little things make the biggest impact.

What is your favorite Mama Bear extra mile? You can share it in the comments or tweet it with the hashtag #ArcticHome. Don’t forget to check out the five beautiful polar bears on the Arctic Home site. My favorite bear so far is Nita, but I’m still reading up on them.

Why was the formula changed for the polar arctic coke. I am an avid coke drinker and can tell the difference. I have had several taste the difference. It’s okay to have a new brand but the polar arctic says it is the same recipe – not true – we need the old classic coke. This was tried once before and people know the difference. Change it back please.
