Hi and welcome to our home!
We usually keep our outside decorations simple. (Translation- my husband doesn’t like to hang outside lights) This year we picked out a wreath from our friend’s greenhouse. It is beautiful.
I usually only decorate a few rooms in our house. I once had many decorations, but after many moves, my decorations are dwindling.
I am very excited that this year I have a hutch to display some of my breakable decorations. My favorites are the snow globes.
Someone else likes them too.
My oldest son loves Nutcrackers.
One new addition to our decor this year are fresh poinsettias. They are so gorgeous, I am not sure why I haven’t purchased these every year.
Since we don’t have a chimney I am always baffled as to where to hang the stockings.

Some of the kids love our Little People Christmas decorations. I love them because the kids cannot break them.
We also have some Playmobil decorations because we are equal opportunity around here.
Our piano is decorated with a some lighted village scenes which my kids love! I try to buy one every year after Christmas when they are on sale.
The Christmas tree sits in our living room and per the kids request can be seen out of two windows.
And yes, the tree is leaning.
We don’t put gifts under the tree until Christmas because we have a two-year old.
My favorite thing to do in December is grab a cup of hot chocolate, put on some Christmas music and sit by the tree before bed.

Looks good Toni! I love the snowglobes and all the nativity scenes that you have. I only have one that I purchased when we were first married. I would love to get another “nice” one to add to our collection.
Very pretty, Toni. I didn’t know you could get a Christmas set for kids to play with. Cool!
We set our tree in front of two windows too. We lived in a house for ten years and there was noway we could put the tree in front of the window to be seen from the street.
So now, we are able to do it in this house. I love to see it from the street.
BTW, my husband seems to be done decorating outside too. We used to have lights outside. No more…sigh!
Hey, we have that playmobil nativity too!! How fun!!
Your house looks beautiful!! Great job!
Love your decor! Especially the plates…my fave! We don’t put presents out because of the same reason, too! : )
Merry Christmas!
I like where you hang your stockings! Mom use to hang ours on the railing leading to the upstairs-the first things we checked.
Cute decor all around!
Merry Christmas!
Beautiful Christmas decorations! I found you via BooMama’s home tour. Thanks for sharing! Merry Christmas.
very pretty!
Love your decorations!
I also love snow globes!! Your house looks beautiful. Very kid friendly.
Your home is lovely, Toni! I know many happy moments and memories are created there. I still put out all my boys’ Santas, even though they’re grown now (the boys, not Santa!).
I, too, love sitting by my tree before bed, listening to Christmas music, and sipping eggnog of some commercial sort.
Beautiful! I love your kid friendly decorations. We don’t have any presents under our tree either, but that’s because we have a puppy.
Beautiful decorations! I think I have a snow globe just like the first one. It is nice to sit beside a lit Christmas tree all alone.
i know what you mean about not having presents under the tree yet. i don’t either!
I have the same angel nativity set!
Leaning trees are the best! I love your stocking idea since you do not have a chimney! Thanks for sharing
Everything is so pretty! So peaceful. And I browsed around about homeschooling stuff, too…we are already praying about the education of our kids. Our first is on the way! Come see me at my house (blog)!
Your home is beautiful and so are your decorations. I love the leaning tree. It gives it personality.
LOVE the Playmobil set that you have out! Also love love love your title of living on one income in a two income world! (I’m living that life, too!)
Love everything! We always do fresh wreaths as well, nothing like them. And I feel ya on the outside lights…my hubby refuses to get on the roof as well.
Oh, and you mentioned about not knowing where to hang the stockings…my S-I-L doesn’t have a fireplace and she found this cute stocking holder…if you want to take a look, you can find it here: http://elainaweaver.blogspot.com/2008/11/few-fun-pics.html
Merry Christmas!!
The decorations are beautiful, I especially like the playmobil people nativity.
I love the fact that the tree leans, and I totally understand where you are coming from with no presents under the tree. Mine are 3 & 5, but still no presents!
Merry Christmas
I too like nutcrackers, so I have quite a few. I noticed your fisherman. Hubby is a rabid fisherman and someone gave him one too. Little different than yours – - – but a fisherman nonetheless.
Merry Christmas.
Thanks for sharing!
Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Your house was adorable… especially the front door! And I love your sense of humor over your leaning tree:). Merry Christmas!
I really need to get one of those Little People nativity sets. I keep seeing them all around the blogosphere and I’m getting jealous
Thanks for sharing your holiday home. Merry Christmas!
Love how you hung your stockings! Merry Christmas & God bless!
I am way behind in seeing your blog. You post so much…it is wonderful.
I greatly enjoyed your Christmas home tour. Thank you for sharing it.
You have such a precious family, and your food looks delicious! Your family must LOVE you.
Love, Hope
That tree just loves the piano! I’ve never heard of Playmobil, but you’re the second I’ve seen on the tour with a set. Gotta check that out for our 1 and 3 year old girls.
Have a wonderful Christmas holiday!
