Usually we have a ton of snow by now, which really isn't that big a deal because my husband's the one who shovels it :). But this year we've had virtually nothing. So no snowmen, and most of all, no cross-country skiing! I know what you mean about eating through your cupboards, though. I read once that most people have $285 worth of groceries in their cupboards with no real plan. So you can be creative! Cranberries with pork and beans. Jello with spaghetti! I am thankful we had so much food on hand - I hit the commissary for a few essentials a week ago and we've only had to stock up on cat food in between snows. Glad we're stocked up with food here, and electricity too!
