The Virgin Megastore is closed permanently. There is nothing in the storefront at this time.

Don’t forget to stop in the the Ghirardelli store for free samples of chocolate!!

Thanks so much for this info! We are taking a vacation, of sorts, since we live in the Tampa Bay area, to Orlando. I am not sure my son is ready for Disney and we would rather go later in the year so this is the ideal solution and I really don’t think he will know the difference. We will definitely do the T Rex restaurant. Appreciate the tip!

We live approx. 15 minutes from Disney and we always suggest going here if they want to do Disney fast and inexpensively. It is very festive during the Christmas Holidays with all the extra lights and decorations. Our grandchildren enjoyed the free boat ride just looking at the birds and the night lights. The characters appear at various places throughout Downtown Disney. I don’t think all little children need the “full” Disney experience… but maybe the parents need it??? Disney Westside and Disney Market Place gives a taste of Disney…

That’s interesting! Don’t know if we’ll ever make it down there but if so will keep in mind. They have whole guides written on how to “do” Disney with autistic kids.

Downtown Disney is so fun! We went to the T-Rex the last time we went. The storms scared my little one, but we still had fun. That Lego store is trouble! My son took forever deciding what to buy in there. He wants to go back just so he can buy more legos, lol!
