I love your story. My story is similar in basis. I am newly married to a soldier i barely know. I up and left my job, home, family, and friends in Tampa FL and moved half way across the world to Hawaii (still the USA yes but its very different than the mainland and since Im not a tourist life is not all beaches). I did not just move me but I have two children from a previous marriage (ages 4 and 6) that I brought with me. Adjustments are being made and life isnt a day at the beach. We never seem to be ahead in terms of money. We do have a roof over our head thanks to the military! Thank god because we could never afford it other wise unless we left the military life and moved back into my house in Tampa that has yet to sell. Our main goal is that we are committed to making this marriage and family work! We love each other so much that the small petty things will never divide us. I can't wait to hear more of your story.

I wanted to add that I sort of married a stranger as well. I met him at Walmart of all places and was a new Christian. We become pregnant about 8 months later and wed about 6 months later because I believe God wanted us to. We have another child together that is 2 and will be married 5 years in October.

Wonderful story, I enjoyed it very much and found it very inspiring. My husband is a believer, but he doesn't read the Bible and talk about God very much. This gives me hope to not give up and let God.

Thank you. Beloved Husband (I've called him that for decades) proposed after five days, four dates. We did wait a year to marry -- but within three months after the wedding I was pregnant and he was recalled to active duty in the Army. Yet, through God's grace, I've been a Happy Housewife for 49 years this May.

May God grant you even longer time together!

As I sit here waiting for my husband to come home from his usual 16 + hour shift, I read your story and God speaks to me. He tells me to be patient and that I am part of something bigger. You are part of my something bigger. All of you who read this and comment are! You all have changed my life tonight. Thank you for sharing your experiences and letting God speak through you to me. I am greatful Oh Lord...

That was an incredible story. You should really have it published when you finish. I think it strikes a cord with all of us. At some point in our marriage we've all felt what you have. Yet we believe we are the only ones going through it. This story of yours comforted me in knowing that we all have hardships and happiness.
