I am finally back from vacation, we returned Saturday night and quickly got to work unloading the trailer full of furniture we brought back from Florida. Today (Sunday) we worked on cleaning out our garage, which has been a storage area for everything we didn’t have room for when we moved here 7 months ago. We made a lot of progress today, but there is still much to be done.Â
We have a busy week due to the fact that we are moving in two weeks. We have our pre-inspection for this house on Wednesday so I need to really get things picked up and cleaned before then.Â
Other goals for the week are:
Complete schoolwork with the boys (my big kids are still on vacation with the grandparents).
Finish the garage clean out.
Get windshield repaired ( some thing hit it on the ride home and put a tiny crack in the windshield).
Clean out the girls room.
Catch up on laundry.
Get organized for the homeschool convention.
Catch up on my bible study and bible reading, I fell behind on vacation.
Plan small birthday celebration for our soon to be eight year old.Â
Get rid of extra furniture.Â
Figure out what to do with my swampy, half dead garden.Â
My menu is very basic for this week since we are trying to get rid of all the food in the cupboards so we don’t have to move it. You can view my menu here.Â

I’m glad you had a chance to take a vacation before tackling all that is required for moving. May the Lord bless the work of your hands this week.

Thanks so much for your 3 kitchens series! I sure have appreciated all the info and help I’ve garnered from you 3 brililant (yet still normal) moms. My family has really enjoyed the home cooked meals instead of so much junk because “I didn’t have time to cook”. Now things are prepped in advance and we’re ready to go!
