If you need ideas for books to read aloud to your children I highly recommend The Read-Aloud Handbook. It is a great resource for children’s literature. I just pulled mine off the shelf last week and will be using it to build our library list over the next few weeks.
Most libraries have The Read-Aloud Handbook available to check out, so see if you can borrow a copy from your local library.

Here’s what we’re reading this week.
- The Jesus Storybook Bible: Every Story Whispers His Name
- Daddy’s Girl
- Dinosaur Roar
- Junie B. Jones Is a Beauty Shop Guy
- Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever
- Usborne Time Traveler
