Even being a teacher (before kids), I wouldn't know where to start! I do know it's a big job and probably one that needs a lot of organization. It looks like you have a great plan in place and got a lot accomplished. I like that you use filing boxes to keep all of your children's work separate. Awesome (and relieving, I'm sure) tackle! One shelf for his school books and stuff, and one for mine. We do have plastic lidded boxes like yours that are storing hand-me-down books that he will be using over the next few years. The amount to store has lessened as he is the youngest and is in high school, so we don't have to store as many anymore....sniff...snort!
