HEAV is Free for Parents of Preschoolers

I am a huge fan of the HEAV (Home Educators of Virginia)  convention. We have attended the convention for the past two years and plan to attend this year as well. The exhibit hall is huge, they have excellent speakers, and the used curriculum sale is a great way to make some money selling your old curriculum and save money buying new!

I opened my email this morning and was excited to read that HEAV is offering free admittance to the convention for parents of preschoolers! The requirements are; your eldest child must be under 5 years of age, and you must never have attended an HEAV convention. You will still need to register, but your registration is free.

This is a wonderful opportunity for families to attend this convention without spending a ton of money. This year’s keynote speaker is Voddie Baucham. It is worth attending if only to hear him speak!

The convention dates are June 11-13th, and you don’t need to live in Virginia to attend. You can find more convention information on the HEAV website. I would love to meet up with any of you, if you are attending the convention. Just send me an email and we can discuss details.

  1. I have been reading your blog for several weeks now and thought I should say hello. We used to live in VA and LOVED the HEAV conferences. We now live in Texas, same town as Voddie Bauchum…he is an awesome speaker! Thanks for all the encouraging posts. I am really enjoying your organization and scheduling stories.

I used to go to this convention with a dear friend when I lived in MD. I LOVED this convention. We usually just did shopping and then bought the tapes of the speakers.
