Growing Beans in a CD Case

I saw this fun homeschool experiment on Pinterest and had to share.

Next time you are growing beans as an experiment, place the dirt and beans in a clear CD case. This protects the beans but still allows the kids to see them growing. You can read more about the experiment on Art Projects for Kids. Clever idea!

What a great idea! Easier and more compact than the typical paper-towels-in-a-mason-jar setup, and who doesn’t have a few empty cd cases?

  3. What a great idea! I’m going to try this with my grandkids the next time they come over! Thanks for sharing! I love your website and have provided a link to it on my own site because I know my readers enjoy it too!

What a great idea. So much better than using a paper towel or plastic bag. Thanks for sharing.

How cool is that?!!! I’m kicking myself for buying a special planter that serves the same purpose for like, $11.00. Doh!!
