It’s back to (home)school week here at the Happy House! While we aren’t starting school until next week I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite homeschooling tips, planning ideas, curriculum, and school rooms ideas as we are gearing up for another year.
I’m not sure about you, but I’m ready to get back into a routine at our house. While my kids have loved lazy summer days, sleeping in, and a break from school I’m ready for some structure! This was our first summer off in several years and it has been good and bad. I’m planning on taking summer off next year too, but hopefully it will be a little more structured than this summer.
I finally ordered the rest of our curriculum and I’m hoping it arrives before next Monday! I switched up things for my older kids and I’m anxious to see how they fit with our homeschool.
Finally, we have begun the college hunt with our oldest. I’ll probably be writing about our experiences from choosing a school, searching for scholarships, and the changes it will bring for our family. I’m excited and nervous at the same time.
This is a busy and exciting year for our family and I can’t wait to share it with you!
