Homeschool Curriculum 2011-2012 School Year
This is our 2011-2012 curriculum. Chances are pretty good it will change a bit by the end of the year, but for now this is what we are using. My senior is waiting to hear back on an internship position she applied for, so until we know we are keeping her schedule kind of light.

Wow, that is quite a line-up….do you have a schedule for your days? I have three…and am still trying to find a good schedule. I know everyone’s schedule is different, but I enjoy learning from others….it truly does help to see how Moms handle their days.
You’re using Thinking Toolbox and Fallacy Detective! The authors of those books are good friends of ours!
I tihnk I had heard of TeenPact, but didn’t really know much about it. It sounds like an awesome experience. Do you have experience with it before this year? If so, can you give a little bit of information on it? Do you do any work throughout the year, or is it just the camps? I’ve a 13yo and a 16yo who I think could benefit from this.
Thanks in advance for any information you can provide. Feel free to email me privately if you like. Your curriculum looks great!
Jennifer
Jennifer,
I’ll have one of my older kids write up a TeenPact review for the website.
Toni
Thank you so much! I look forward to.reading about it.
Do you do history and science with 3 at a time?
I have never looked at the K5 BJU math before. I have previously used Horizon. Do you use the teacher’s edition or do you get by with just the student workbook? I know sometimes the TE has teaching suggestions in it. Also, do you use the manipulative they sell?
I’d love to see what a day in the life looks like with high school and kindergarten under one roof!
Wow! 6 children, I have only 2 and ((blush)) feel a bit overwhelmed at times. I have 4th grader and K4 this year. We are planning on using Time4Learning, spelling city and introducing some Unit studies from Amanda Bennett. Unit studies are pretty new to me, but I am thinking it will be something Fun to add and kinda break things up a bit.
Happy Homeschooling Everyone
Keri
I am currently homeschooling 5 of my 7 children. Grades 9, 7, 5, 1, Kindergarten. I am using a variety of resources with my 2 younger children. My main resource is LifePac. I am, however, using one Abeka book and the rest I am just doing on my own. My older 3 children are doing Switched on Schoolhouse. We love it!
