I know I am not the only one who has a sock problem. My single sock box has gone wild. We have so many single socks I cannot even close the sock box. (This is sounding like a Dr. Suess book)
I decided this weekend I needed to tackle the sock box. I knew there had to be some pairs in there somewhere so I started to search my sock box.
After searching, and doing a load of laundry I found 14 pairs of socks!
And although now I can close my sock box, I still prefer to wear flip flops….
or should I say Birkenstocks….

ROFL! That cracked me up!! Loved your Seussed up version of Socks Box! LOL
We have a socks bag. It is always full. I threaten to throw them away when it gets so full. :-p
Socks do have a way of disappearing. I would rather wear my slip on shoes, anyway!
I am glad I am not the only person who has a “sock box’ or in my case basket. This is a job I have NEVER liked LOL but you are right. I did the same thing and found many socks LOL
Now that my hubby and both teen boys wear the same size socks I just buy loads and loads of black socks in the same size and style and then all they have to do is grab two socks and they will have a pair!
The dreaded sock matching! LOL! I wonder where all those other socks go. I think they are playing hide-and-go-seek and snickering.
Great tackle!!
Socks are overrated. Great tackle. This week I tackled laundry. I do hope that you will stop by to checki it out. Have a blessed day.
What a great tackle! I love the idea of the box itself!! Look at how much you saved!!! 14 pair!! Great!!
LOL, It feels funny to wear socks when it is still hot outdoors. Great tackle.
Ha! Good tackle — and Dr. Seuss story. I might need to start a socks box myself.
This is so cute! hey love those Birkenstocks!
We have a single sox laundry hamper and I counted 55 pairs last time I matched it. I do it every 2 months or so. I have no idea how it gets so bad, but I think the solution is to stop buying socks that are “different” (colour, design, whatever) and just have them all THE SAME per kid. (we have 6).
