Confession time…. my bedroom is the “junk drawer” for my house. Even on cleaning days it seems like my room never gets cleaned. Today, when I saw that Crystal was encouraging us to organize our master bedrooms I thought, no, not this week!
Then I realized that with my husband having surgery on Wednesday, he will probably be spending a lot of time in the bedroom over the next week or so. Wouldn’t it be nice to bless him with a clean and clutter free room? I was hoping to only spend 30 minutes on the room, but because of laundry piles it took about 45 minutes. Not too bad for something that I have been putting off for weeks.
Here are the before and after pictures, sorry the lighting is so bad…

Looks great! Feels good to have a room neat and tidy, doesn’t it?!
It is looking great! That is what we have been working on lately, decluttering.

By the way I tagged ya!
Ah, how nice! Your husband will surely appreciate it!! I’m like you…the master bedroom seems to always be the last thing I get to. Nice example I’m setting for my kids when I say, “Go clean your room,” huh? I’ve been trying lately to keep up with it better…it just feels so nice to walk into at the end of the day when it’s clean!
Great Job!!!!!!!
I can relate to the laundry in the bedroom. We’ve a bench at the end of our bed that serves only as a platform for my pile of clean laundry. After all, why put it away when I’m just going to wear it soon, anyway?
Right?
Right?
I’m waiting for affirmation here…
I love the new heading on the blog
… It is so true.. I understand 100%
Wow! Your bedroom looks amazing. You did a great job. Our mbr tends to be the same way, the “junk drawer” of the house. But, it has a door that can be closed and when company comes over no one asks to see our room because they are curious about the logistics of how we fit everybody in one room to sleep like they do with the kids room.
Your redo looks great.
This cought my eye as I blogged about a Haven today too!
You after photos look really nice. I hope your husband’s recovery goes well!
