My kids upload a ridiculous amount of photos to Facebook. It seems like every day I check their accounts and there is a new batch of photos on their wall. When I had the opportunity to review the Eye-Fi card I couldn’t help but think that this card would make a perfect graduation gift for a photo taking teenager (or adult).
The Eye-Fi card is a wireless memory card for your camera. When you use Eye-Fi instead of a regular memory card you are able to upload pictures directly from your camera to your computer or photo sharing site. All you need is a wireless router to use the card.
The Eye-Fi card is very easy to set up. You plug in the port to a computer and the set up takes less than 10 minutes, noting complicated, you don’t even need to restart the computer! The card is compatible with Mac’s or PC’s but check the Eye-Fi site to make sure it will work with your software.
To get photos from your camera to your computer, without plugging anything in, just keep your camera on after you take your photos. The photos will then magically appear on your computer. Well it isn’t really magic, it is technology, but magically sounds more magical!

What a great giveaway! I’d love one of these, because right now getting photos off my memory card requires going through the printer to the computer (no slot for the card on the computer) and is so time-consuming it’s almost not worth taking pictures sometimes. But since I have such a nice camera (and four terrific subjects), it’s a shame not to – having this would solve that problem for me!
This would make sharing photos with the relatives across the country so much easier!!
I don’t have a smartphone, but I have a relatively new baby. So I’m always jealous of people who are constantly taking pictures of their babies and posting them on facebook. Not to mention that it takes me 3 months to get around to uploading pictures.

Okay first of all, I’d never heard of an Eye-FI and now I have and I don’t think I can live without one! I take pictures constantly, and then its back and forth between the printer/computer to upload and look at them and then back out for more photos!! I need me an EYE-FI!
What an ingenious idea! This would save a lot of time — and what mother couldn’t use more of that? I have a busy little 14 month old daughter whom I love to photograph. This would allow me to take pictures and get them shared much more quickly. Won’t Grandma be happy?

I could use this with three kids. I take lots of pictures, but I only download them once every couple months. This could save me an hour, and that’s a lot in mommy time. (one shower, a meal sitting down, and 2 trips to the bathroom by myself!)
I take pictures of the kids daily for family and friends all over the country to see… saving a step would be wonderful.

This sounds wonderful. I have so many photos still on the memory card that never make it to the computer because it’s so cumbersome to deal with the software program that I’ve pretty much given up taking photos. This eyefi system sounds much easier.

Never heard of this technology but after reading about it, IT SOUNDS TOTALLY AWESOME!!!! Having this card would allow me to show more of my family, animals included, and would be awesome to share with my sister when her new baby girl is born in a couple of months.

It seems I am not alone in my terrible picture sharing! It can take me months to get pictures off the camera and upload them to friends and family. This sounds like an amazing product!

I would really love to win the Eye-Fi card. We have 8 children Ranging from 30-10 years of age and 2 Grandchildren 7 & 5. And our picture taking is non stop. I never want to miss a moment of my childrens lives or in my Grandchildrens lives. So do I need say more, It would be a great blessing to our family of 10 +. Wow! I never knew such a thing existed?! It really does sound like magic! I would LOVE to have an Eye-Fi because I would no longer forget to upload my photos. Which means that my memory card wouldn’t always be full!

I would like to win this memory card because I always take pictures to upload to my blog, facebook, and photo websites, but I end up not doing it for several reasons. I have twin 2 year old toddlers and a 3 month old baby. Most of the time, I don’t have time to sit down and upload all my photos. If I do have time, I cannot leave my camera unattended because my toddlers are always trying to disconnect the cord. Having the wireless capability would be a huge help for me. I hope I win!!
I would love to win this because my husband is currently deployed so it would be a wonderful way for me to keep up with the pictures he takes while he is gone. Just another simple way to keep in touch. Also it would be nice to have the pictures somewhere safe in case something was to happen to the camera.

This would be a life changer for me! Pictures sit on my card for months (months!!) and I am always scared that when I put the card in my computer, I will somehow mess it all up and my pictures will be gone forever! This would give me such peace of mind – I hope I win!!
I totally need this. I’ve been decluttering over the last week (spring break) and taking pictures of sentimental items (like my favorite baby and toddler clothes for the kids, stuffed animals, old keepsakes) before I donate them. (It makes it easier for me to let go of it knowing that I’ve got a photo of it safe somewhere). (1/3 challenge rocks!)
I’ve had to take breaks in the photo taking to download all the pictures on my card, wipe it clean and move on. The computer was already on (kids working on a school project due next week), and if I had this cool card, I wouldn’t have had to interrupt my groove. Please pick me!

Wow! That is a fabulous idea. I take so many pictures that it would so be helpful! Often I run out of room before being able to get to my computer and downloading all my pics so I start deleting the ones I think I can part with. I’d love to win so I wouldn’t have to delete some before I have a chance to get to the computer.
I like that you can use your Wi-Fi network instead of hunting for cables or card readers to download your pictures. Big time saver!!
