Having a Blast at HEAV

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

This weekend is going by way too fast, aside from the fact that I am seeing tons of friends at this convention, I have met many awesome vendors and speakers.

I hope to post more specifically about some of the sessions when I do not have to type in the hotel lobby, but for now I’ll just show you a few pictures from the weekend, so far.

Michele from Kids Love Travel, she is even sweeter in person than on Twitter!

Hanging out with the Dave Ramsey Crew. (Which by the way are an awesome bunch of folks!)

My new friend, Ginny from Homeschool Mania. She is hilarious and I convinced her to sign up for Twitter so you must follow her and show her some Twitter love, since she has no idea how it works! Her company sells fun homeschool t-shirts. I found a really cute fish one for my oldest, but I think I might wear tomorrow just to try it out!

One of the highlights today was hearing Voddie Baucham speak on homeschooling and worldview. This guy is awesome. I could listen to him all day! He is speaking tomorrow morning on the cultural wars and I can’t wait to hear him again!

I have much more to share with you all… when I return!

I’m assuming this is a homeschool convention? Looks like a lot of fun. If I were to homeschool Id love to attend such events.

Enjoy getting refreshed! I first heard Voddie Baucham at our homeschool convention a couple years ago. I went away inspired, and bought the CDs to keep reminding myself of all the great challenges he pressed us on.

Enjoy! Can’t wait to hear more.

I didn’t see the t-shirt lady! They look cute(the tshirts). Voddie Baucham was so good! Since we can’t be there to hear him today, I’m going to download his mp3 @ bestchristianconferences.com. Have fun today!! :)

Looks like fun! I may end up homeschooling my oldest son next year for 9th grade. He’s very smart but doesn’t apply himself as much as he could. I think bringing him home for at least a year would help him emotionally, too. We’ll see what we decide!
