I was told by several people that you can order "no name" printer ink on Amazon.com for WAY less and it works great. I have an HP printer and they said when you search for the ink you regularly use Amazon.com will recommend similar ink that costs less. I was amazed at the difference in price my friends told me about. I spend a fortune on ink b/c I too homeschool and am always printing stuff out. Thanks for these tips. Especially the paper as mulch! He said he saved money by just buying a new cheap printer when the ink ran out. So much for being green! When I found a printer with $1/cartridge ink I knew that was the printer for me! LOL I paid @25 for 25 ink cartridges (that includes shipping) I'm extremely happy with it. BTW-always research your printer-always. I'll never, ever buy a lexmark again. You can't refill the cartridges because of a computer chip in the cartridge! I'm not okay with a company that does that.
