Restaurant.com $25 Gift Certificate for $3

Coupon good until May 23, 2010.

Last night we celebrated our 17th anniversary by going out to dinner. We used a Restaurant.com gift certificate and saved $22 off our bill! Not only did we save money, we found a great little restaurant that I never would have found had I not been looking for gift certificates on the Restaurant.com website.

Currently they are running a special where you can save 70% off Restaurant.com $25 gift certificate orders. Use code SAVOR and pay only $3 for a $25 gift certificate, $50 gift certificates are $6.

This is a great way to go out for significantly less than you would normally spend. Most of the restaurants are not the typical chain restaurants, but it could be a great way to try something new.

We love using Restaurant.com when we are planning a date night out. They run 70% and 80% off deals frequently, so we check retailmenot.com when we start planning. They expire after a year, and we don’t often spend what the minimum purchase is, so we don’t want to risk losing our money (even if it’s $3!) Our favorite place is Kaufman’s in Gambrills, MD–very nice surf and turf restaurant for a good price using the certificate.

Thanks! I ordered 2- $25 certificates for $6! We’re going to be trying out some new restaurants soon!

We tried Restaurant dot com about a year ago. I was very pleased with it ~ we got a $25 GC for $2 ~ and we had no problem using it at the restaurant. I may have to get another GC this time, I saw that there are GCs available for a restaurant in our tiny little town that we’ve been wanting to try.

They had a 90% sale for 09/09/09 and I got the dinner of the month club for $12. So every month we get a $25 gift certificate that I only paid $1 for! So far we’ve enjoyed it. Usually restaurants we woudn’t have know about otherwise. Some great, some just okay, but it certainly stretches our date budget.

We love it too. We also got in on the $25 gift certificate for $1 deal. We chose Ted’s Montana Grill…buffalo burgers! YUM!

I have never bought anything from them but my sil does. She got $25 certificates for incredible pizza for $2 and gave them to the nieces and nephews for birthdays. Incredible Pizza is kinda like a chucky cheese (only better with min golf and go carts and tons of games). It is pretty expensive and would cost our family of 5 about $50 for a day of fun, foof and games so with the GC we got to go for about 1/2 price. The kids TOTALLY love it and we all have a blast. Something we would probably not get to do at all without the certificate.

U can also go through Ebates and get 15% back….. not a lot of money unless you’re buying tons of gift certs., but every little bit helps :)

    Great tip! Thanks for sharing.

We LOVE restaurant.com. I have found some of our new favorite restaurants through there. We use them to treat out of town guests out to dinner. My kids (and my husband! :) ) love that I encourage them to get an appetizer or dessert when we use them. Otherwise, our family of 4 sometimes has a hard time hitting the minimum purchase. I love that we get tons of leftovers and food I didn’t cook for over 50% off.

Ohh thanks for this! We’re stationed in England and traveling home (NC) for a few weeks. We can’t wait to eat real American food (to include Mexican, Japanease, and Chinease!) We leave Monday- so perfect timing!

  13. Andrea says:

I’ve used them several times and have not had a problem with them. Do read the fine print—if you order multiple certificates from the same restaurant I think you can only use one per month. We are a large family so meeting the minimum is NEVER a problem!!

We tried using a restaurant.com certificate for our anniversary. We got a $25 for $2 during one of their sales, and they had a restaurant we’ve been DYING to try. In our area, most of the restaurants require that you spend $35 in Entrees alone, which is pretty hard for us to do when it’s just the 2 of us. We ended up spending $23 (including a decent tip) for two entrees and 1 alcoholic beverage at a pretty nice Italian restaurant. It was fantastic food, and our bill otherwise would have been over $50, so it was a pretty good bargain!

  15. Teri says:

They only have one restaurant in our area, and you have a $60.00 minimum.
Still a little pricey if your on a budget.

  16. TheHappyHousewife says:

Definitely not a good fit for your area! We are fortunate to have tons of restaurants and the restrictions aren’t too bad.
