Most appliance websites have the manuals for their appliances (including older models) available to download for free. If you have an old appliance that is missing the manual check the website and see if you can download a free manual.

Yes! I have done this many times. Another thing we’ve been able to do is find GAME RULES! You know, those little folded pieces of paper that come inside the boxes of board games, that get lost the day after they unwrap them? We’ve found so many online!
after buying a ‘scratch and dent’ refrigerator (a NICE one) we were able to find the manual for it on-line. (we didnt even know how to replace the water filter without it)
