I don’t fly very often, but when I do fly I always sign up for the airlines’ frequent flyer program. This usually means I end up with a few accounts and none of them have enough miles to get a free flight.
Many of the airlines will allow you to trade in your miles for products. This year my husband had a some miles left on one account, but not enough for a flight. He traded his miles for a Christmas gift for one of our children. It was quite a savings!
If you have some frequent flyer miles sitting in your account check with your airline to see if you can trade them for merchandise. You just might be able to cross off a couple of items from your Christmas shopping list this year.

This is a great tip, I found out a few weeks ago that we had enough points to get $100 in Amazon gift cards…SCORE!
Thanks for the tip! I had some points just sitting there for years, and I see some cool gifts that my family would love! Thanks again.
