One way to stay motivated in your path to financial freedom is to continually read books that push you towards your goal. Even now that we are debt free and living a pretty thrifty life (I think) I am always reading something that will motivate me to stay the course. Here are thirteen books that helped us reach our financial goals and stay on track for the future. All should be available at your local library.

by Dave Ramsey
- Financial Peace Revisited by Dave Ramsey
- The Millionaire Next Door
by Thomas J. Stanley
- Free and Clear: God’s Roadmap to Debt-Free Living
by Howard Dayton
- Debt Free Living

- The Complete Tightwad Gazette
by Amy Dacyczyn
- Miserly Moms: Living on One Income in a Two-Income Economy
by Jonni McCoy
- The Complete Cheapskate: How to Get Out of Debt, Stay Out, and Break Free from Money Worries Forever
by Mary Hunt
- The Encyclopedia of Country Living

What book(s) keeps you motivated to stay on track financially?

The Richest Man in Babylon! Its fiction, but a great lesson. It’s all about getting ahead if you pay yourself first 10% of your income.
Toni, it’s great to have you back! Glad you had so much fun! I have read some of these books on her but I am going to write down the titles because I’d like to read some of the others.
I, too, motivate myself with books. I love the Economides’ book but my favorite is The Tightwad Gazette. It really helped and encouraged me when my husband was out of work for a whole year.
I love Dave Ramsey. We have 3 of his books.
More With Less sounds about my speed.
I’ve heard so much of Dave Ramsey, but have of yet to read any of his books. I do have a copy of Miserly Moms and have viewed the More with Less cookbook and The Complete Tightwad Gazette as well as the Complete Cheapskate, too.
Anything by Ellie Kay is really helpful. I love her stuff.
