Hey Happy Housewife, After you set upi your 529 register with Freshman Fundand you can let friends and family know they can gift directly into the 529 in lieu of or in addition to giving the usual birthday gifts.

I have read Dave Ramseys books but have yet to start any of the plans, seeing yours in action has just made me want to get in there as soon as possible. Thank you for sharing

Thank you so much for sharing this! My husband and I just started on Dave Ramseys plan. Right now my husband is working two jobs and we are still behind on our credit cards:( I do not work I stay home with our two babies (2 year old and a 1 year old), but I do do a lot of ebay selling. We live on the bare minimums for example absoutley no eating out, no cable, and so forth. I appreciate your encouragement that I know some day are family will be debt free. I am looking towards the Lord for all of our needs. Thanks again for your encouraging words. Reading everyones blogs help me keep my mind into the budgeting mode. Thanks again!
