We did this a couple of years ago and started at the Science center. We got there early, but there was already a really really long line. We waited over an hour in the cold and then received a ticket to come back at a later time. When we did come back, the place was quite crowded inside. I’m not saying don’t go, just be forewarned.

we have “free day” for county residents here at our local amusement & water parks. they are always jammed packed – but you get just enough of the excitement to do you for another year.

This is a very clever idea, and if I lived closer I think I would enjoy it!

BTW, about your comment: I know….I know…but I don’t eat there very often. Although, I do go there for cokes! Just take slow deep breaths and keep thinking broccoli and cauliflower, lol!
