Many of you have asked what type of paint I am using for my painting projects. I’ve recently switched to Sherwin-Williams paint and have been extremely happy with the results.
When I mentioned Sherwin-Williams on my Facebook page a few people said they had heard good things about SW paint but that it was very expensive. At regular retail price it is more expensive than the brands you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot.
But… when it’s on sale it is the same price or cheaper than competing brands. It has been my experience that the Sherwin Williams paint goes on quicker, covers better, and cleans better than other brands. In my current house I painted two rooms with the Behr paint and primer and the rest of the house with SW. I used less Sherwin Williams paint in my large family room than Behr paint for my son’s small bedroom. It also looks better, in my opinion.
