This weekend I noticed a ten dollar rebate from Kelloggs in the paper. I headed to the store today to pick up my ten items needed to qualify for the rebate.
I was pretty excited to see that cereal qualified for the rebate because we haven’t had cereal in the house for about a month. My kids actually gasped in delight when I brought home my purchases.
My total before coupons was $19.75 (approx)
After coupons my total was $15.00
With my $10 rebate my total is $5. I could have paid less, if I would have been willing to go with different cereals, but I had to stick with what my kids will eat and will not kill you with food coloring.
This is my best cereal deal in a long time. Of course this will last us less than a week, but I am definitely in the running for mom of the year because of the Frosted Flakes!
Is there any chance you have an extra rebate form? We didn’t get them here and neither did any of my family spread out all across the US! How sad is that?
I only had the one that was in the Sunday paper. According to a few things I have read there might be another rebate form coming in the Sunday paper on Aug 19th. There is also supposed to be a rebate form in Taste magazine.

WOW! How come we never get those in OUR paper?! haha
We didn’t have cereal for a week, and my kids were growling! I fixed pancakes twice and eggs once, and the next time they were like, “When can we have cereal again?” LOL
We eat cereal for our snacks as well as breakfast!
And I totally agree on the crazy sugared and colored cereals! I can’t eat them, and do not like for the kids to!
I’m in the running for wife of the year because I got frosted flakes and a box of rice krispie treats!
I just came across the Kelloggs rebate while clipping coupons this afternoon. Woo-hoo!
I clipped that coupon out, but I didn’t calculate the actual savings. Thanks for pointing it out–now I’m going to go cash in!
