I am going in less than two weeks! But I am a Disney novice and I’m wondering if we can use the Salute and companion tickets for non-consecutive days. We are planning on being there Sunday-Friday and I would like to have a “no park” day on Tuesday. Do you know if they allow you to skip a day, but still use a total of all five days?

I think this is a great program. We leave on Saturday, and unfortunately we already purchased our tickets from our local ITT office. The ITT office couldn’t do anything for us because the government had already paid for our tickets. In fact, they were upset because they received no advance notice of the promotion so that they could advise their customers to wait. Do you think Disney will exchange them?

I love your web-site. I happened upon it by searching for Armed Forces Salute. I would like to send you my newly expired coupons. I wish I would have known this sooner. I just tossed some good ones that expired 12/31/08. Anyway, I will save them from now on. Please let me know where to send them.

Enjoy Space Mountain! I heard today it will be closing on April 19th for renovations. We won’t make it there by then.

BTW, if you’re a Passholder (or have a valid Multi-Day Ticket or a Seasonal Pass that you would use for admission on my birthday in 2009)… you have several options which are available for you….

* A special birthday FASTPASS® badge+ for certain attractions at the Theme Park you visit on your birthday; or
* A 1-day Magic Your Way base ticket for you to use any time until your next birthday; or
* A birthday fun card in an amount equal to the price of a 1-day Magic Your Way base ticket* for you to use on your birthday for merchandise, recreation or fun activities at select participating locations at Walt Disney World® Resort. ]

We currently have Season passes (good until May 5). My birthday is May 2nd… so we’re probably going to go, enjoy everything on our current passes…. get my 1-day pass… and then go back on my hubby’s birthday (August 12)… for one more day of family, Disney fun!!

This is partially related, but your readers may also be interested to know that Disney is also offering free admission, on your birthday during the 2009, to one of the theme parks at either resort(Disney World or Disneyland)

This, of course, doesn’t help with the ticket cost of accompanying family members… but hey, it’s a free ticket!
