The Savvy Blogging team is excited to have Cracker Barrel Old Country Store as a sponsor of our dinner and round table discussion next month. Cracker Barrel realizes that not everyone can attend this event so they are giving away this wonderful gift basket to one of my readers. I don’t know about you, but I LOVE Cracker Barrel pancakes! It doesn’t matter what time of day, I always order the pancakes! I am getting hungry just thinking about it!
- Cracker Barrel Coffee Regular. Cracker Barrel searched out the finest beans and hand-selected a blend of coffee that we hope you’ll find as smooth in flavor as it is in aroma. Enjoy the same coffee at home as you do in our restaurant. Blended, roasted and ground to the exacting specifications of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store®. 16-oz. package.
- Corn Muffin Mix. Corn muffins like they used to make are what we try to serve in our restaurants every day. Now you can too, with this bit of down-home goodness that’s straight from our kitchen to yours. This 2.1 lb. box of corn muffin mix will make approximately 48 muffins and includes a recipe on the back.
- Cracker Barrel Buttermilk Pancake Mix. Wish you had some buttermilk pancakes just like Grandma used to make? Then our own Buttermilk Pancake Mix will remind you of a time when a hearty morning breakfast was as much a part of each day as the sunrise. This is the same mix we use in the restaurant, so now you can enjoy our pancakes at home, too. 2-lb. package.
- 100% Pure Natural Syrup. At Cracker Barrel Old Country Store®, we’ve been serving hearty country breakfasts all day long, ever since we opened our doors back in 1969. Today, we still make buttermilk pancakes fresh from scratch and use only the finest ingredients – like this 100% Pure Natural Syrup. Enjoy the same syrup we serve in our restaurants at home with this signature 12-oz. bottle
- Dickinson’s® Wild Maine Blueberry Syrup. Want to try something different with your pancakes? We suggest pouring on some of Dickinson’s® Wild Maine Blueberry Syrup! Just like we serve in our restaurants, this syrup is packed with the fruity flavor of Wild Maine Blueberries. 12 fl. oz.
- Peg Game. If you’ve ever visited a Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, we’re pretty sure you noticed the peg games on our dining room tables. A great way to test your I.Q., this classic peg game has been with Cracker Barrel since the very beginning. Jump the pegs to remove as many as possible from the board. Practice until perfection, or follow the strategies included with the game. Mastering the peg game is sure to keep you occupied for hours on end!

Can I just say that it has to be their potatoes..YUM!
The shop at the front of the restaurant of course! Oh… and their food is good too!
What’s not to like? Shop while you wait and totally reasonable prices. And don’t forget the military discount. That’s always a plus!
I love their blueberry pancakes!
My husband LOVES their sausage links! I love their stewed apples!
I love their breakfast!!
I think the best thing about crackel barrel to me has to be there dumplings . I order the chicken and dumplings meal everytime I go except when it’s breakfast time and for two sides I always make sure I get some more dumplings . I have been ordering this way ever since my parents started taking me to cracker barrel and I am now 27 years old and still order this way
What don’t I love about Cracker Barrel? Can I say their entire menu. Is that one thing?
I love the atmosphere there (although the food is outstanding too!)
I love, love, love a Cracker Barrel BLT on their Sourdough bread!!
I love their cornbread. I also like walking around the gift shop.
It was difficult for me to decide, but overall I think the good, warm, country feel to the place – especially the country cookin’! – is what I like best.
I’m glad you didn’t ask for which food is our favorite. I couldn’t have narrowed that down!
I have just recently tried the Cracker Barrel for the first time. It was absolutely great! I love their food. I also love that they serve breakfast all day. It is cozy and reminds me of being at home. My kids love it too! Awesome Giveaway! Thanks
Cracker Barrel is my very favorite! What I like best about Cracker Barrel is going in on the weekend for breakfast with my husband when it’s still chilly out. We sit by the warm fireplace, I eat pancakes with fried apples and drink coffee, and he eats one of those ridiculously giant breakfast platters. It feels so homey, but I don’t have to cook or deal with dishes!
I love the chicken and dumplins. Cracker barrel is my familys favorite place to go out to eat. They are the best. We enjoy looking in the store and rocking in the rockers and playing with the checkers and the peg game. Its the best.
God bless
The peg games on the tables are the best–you can get so caught up playing, your delicious food is there before you know it!
)
Oooohhh, Old Timer’s Breakfast, eggs over easy, hash brown casserole, bacon crisp. YUM!! Haven’t been in quite some time, but the kids are wanting to go on the way to Grandma’s next weekend. Always pancakes for them
It’s the atmosphere, the awesome shop and the biscuits and cornbread I love!
Oh I love love love Cracker Barrel too! I used to waitress there during college!
My exact meal that I get each time I go is: French Toast, bacon & a side of hashbrown casserole! Now I usually can’t finish it all but when I was pregnant I did! Lol!
Great giveaway!
Cracker Barrel has some of the best comfort food. I just love their breakfasts, they are sooo good.
I love being able to shop while we wait for a table and I can usually be found buying some article of clothing off their clearance rack
Mmm, I love the pancakes but lately I’ve been getting the chicken and dumplings, fried okra and greens. Yummy.
I love them as well. Me and hubby our going there in a couple weeks for our 11th anniversary. I’m a simple girl with simple need. The need for great country cookin.
I love the chicken and dumplings & gotta have the awesome hashbrowns and Mac-n-Cheese. I love the entire place! Be it shopping & eating or rocking in a chair on the front porch. You just feel at home there:)
I miss the Cracker Barrel! Now I live in CA and there are not any near here!
Their breakfast. Mmmm
I would have to say my favorite thing is the atmosphere there. When I walk in the door, I feel like I’m home. Of course their food is out of this world and I absolutely adore the store and merchandise but for me, it’s the family feeling. We go as much as possible and the last time we were there, it was cold out so we got to eat in front of their blazing fireplace. My six year old daughter asked me if we could please have her next birthday party there with all her friends! Take that, Chuck E.!!! LOL
I love the atmosphere the most. There is something so “homey” about going into a Cracker Barrell. I especially love to visit Cracker Barrell during the Holidays as it brings me back to childhood. There is always a warm cozy feel to the place no matter where you visit one. We visit them as we travel alot to visit family so we eat at them anywhere from Florida, North Carolina, Virginia Pennsylvania and New York – I could spend all day just browsing. There is one only 30 minutes from where I live and there is one 45 minutes from where my parents live – lucky!
In fact, my parents gave us a 50$ gift card at Christmas because we frequent them so often!
Hash brown casserole. Thanks for the chance to win. This looks great!
Oh my word, the hashbrown casserole. I am SURE that stuff was responsible for most of my weight gain while pregnant.
When I was young when my family went on a long family trip we would sometimes make a stop at Cracker Barrel. It was special eating out and I always got the children’s grilled cheese!
What a great giveaway!! I actually enjoy Cracker Barrel’s Thanksgiving Dinner (among other things). When my husband and I weren’t able to be with family for Thanksgiving (and before we had kids), there were several years when we ate our Thanksgiving meal at Cracker Barrel. Great food and no cleaning up the kitchen afterwards!!
I love the whole experience! I always get a veggie plate, and shop around while waiting for my meal. I buy Chow Chow to put on my beans at home. Love to eat at Cracker BArrel!
I LOVE their store at the front. I go there right around Christmas time (other times too), just to see what gifts I can give people.
Food wise, I love the chicken and noodles. Those noodles are SO yummy!
Me- I LOVE everything, but I CAN NOT go without eating a biscuit!
my kids love the Fire and checkers
My husband loves..well, he eats anything there! haha! We do not even need menus when we go there!
I can’t get enough of the hashbrown casserole and the brown sugar apples! I sometimes make a meal out of just those two items. My daughter loves to play the peg game while we wait for our food and she also enjoys choosing a piece of candy from the store afterwards!
Hey GF, looking forward to meeting you in Nashville!
Sandy
I love their Chicken and Dumplings!!! Of course their gift shop is fantastic as well.
I love their potatoes!
Ooooh. Hard to pick what I like best about Cracker Barrel. Love the fried apples, and the chicken & dumplings.
Ummmm….it IS Cracker Barrel- what is not to love??
If I had to choose I would pick the hash browns! Y U M!
Honestly, I have never been to a Cracker Barrel! I have heard good things about them though. The only time I see a Cracker Barrel is when we travel. Pre-kids we never stopped for long when driving. On our next long trip we will be looking for a place for the kiddos to get a break from the car.
Thanks for the chance!
I worked at Cracker Barrel for a short time. I know how much work they do behind the scenes to keep the restaurant and food safe and clean.
I love the country-fried steak with Mac and cheese and fried okra when I want to splurge. When I wont to be a little healthier I like the grilled tenderloin with green beans. I also loooove the pecan pancakes for breakfast. What is not to love about Cracker Barrel!!!
I love the french toast.
I love Cracker Barrel. My favorite thing about Cracker Barrel is how wonderful the employees are. The last time I was there, I was in Tennessee caring for my Grandma who was undergoing chemotherapy. Following one session, we went to Cracker Barrel. The employees were very friendly and compassionate. They moved our table twice to be as close to fire as possible because she was so cold. The chemo changed her taste buds and the things she normally eats did not taste the same to her so they offered to bring her whatever she wanted and they brought it to her quickly. When she started to fill up, they prepared her items to go. An employee stayed with her while I brought the car to the door since she didn’t have the strength to walk far. They held the door for her and made sure she was safely in the car before they went back into the store. That kind of caring makes Cracker Barrel feel like “home”.
I love all the retro toys. They are just like the ones I played with in the 50;’s.
I love Cracker Barrel because I know that everyone in my family loves the food. We can all agree on Cracker Barrel. We always stop on long trips because they always seem to be next to Holiday Inn Express which is where we like to stay. We even took shelter from a tornado in a Cracker Barrel last summer on the way to Texas! LOL And they have the best Chicken n’ Dumplings!
I love the feeling you get when you walk into the dinning room. It is as if you step into a southern home and your mama is preparing a southern feast! The smells, the conversations mingling, the decor! When my second son was ready to be out of the house as a newborn, we went to eat at Cracker Barrel. It was the first time we said, “Table for 4″. I remember standing next to the candy when my husband and I looked at each and smiled, knowing that we were thinking the same thing. Table for 4…..
I LOVE their cornbread. Yummmmmm.
