I’m not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but one exception is definitely Chili’s. If you sign up for their mailing list you receive coupons, discounts, and early notification of their deals- like kid’s eat free. Tonight we went to Chili’s to celebrate my son’s ninth birthday and take advantage of the kid’s eat free deal today.
I had grand plans of getting a bunch of photos of our dinner tonight, but a crazy toddler, a birthday boy, and dad stuck at work until the end of the meal made the photo op’s almost nonexistent. I did manage to get one of the birthday boy enjoying his special treat soda in a big glass!
Currently Chili’s is running two promotions. My husband’s favorite is the Wild or Mild promotion. He likes his food spicy and Chili’s has spiced up some of their most popular meals, but wimps like me can still order the plain jane version of these entree’s. My husband ordered the Jalapeno Steak Quesadilla’s tonight and really enjoyed them. So, if you like your food a little spicier try something off the Wild or Mild Menu.
The other great deal (which is my personal favorite) is the 2 for $20 special. You get one appetizer and two entree’s for $20! You have to order from a special menu, but there are a variety of choices and Chili’s is our date night restaurant of choice when they are running this special. There aren’t many places you can get an appetizer and two meals for $20 these days, without having to hear – “Would you like to super-size it?”
As a mom I also like that there are healthier kid’s meals at Chili’s. My kids often order fruit, beans or rice as a their side and there is no extra charge.

I LOVE Chili’s. The hubby and I almost always order the queso and chips…and then I usually get the Quesadilla Explosion salad. We really love the Chocolate Lava cake too… OH! You have made me have a cravin’!!!!
I love Chilli’s platter that includes chicken, rice, corn on the cob and mixed veggies. Yum! THeir corn on the cob has the best flavor!
I love the salads and queso. Unfortunately the queso pretty much cancels out the salad, though.
haven’t been to Chili’s recently to have a favorite from the menu but would love to go back – really enjoy Chili’s when we go and going out to eat would be a great treat – we haven’t been out to eat in over a month.

We won a gift card last year to Chili’s and it was great! We did the Curbside Pick up while my son was at his summer swim lessons, picked it up, and headed home for dinner. LOVED it!

My favorite dish at Chili’s is CAJUN PASTA or BACON RANCH CHICKEN QUESADILLAS .
Lets not forget the BOTTOMLESS CHIPS & SALSA or my new favorite, FIRE-GRILLED CORN GUACAMOLE!!
Best dish at Chili’s… hmm it might be easier stated as best meal: Start with the skillet queso, chase that with a jalepeno smokehouse bacon burger, and then a molten chocolate cake. Lets not forget the strawberry lemonade. I might be a 100lbs on a good day but I can’t resist some Chili’s.

I had my best margarita ever, believe it or not, at a Chili’s years ago. I can’t drink anymore, so now I’ll just go with a good ol’ plate of bacon cheese fries. Heart attack on a plate. Yum!

My husband and I had our first date at Chili’s 6 years ago…and I don’t think I’ve been back since then. I had some sort of smothered chicken and it was really good!
I love any of the burgers – I have Celiac and can’t eat gluten and the management is awesome at Chili’s about it. They take it so seriously and are knowledgeable about what I can have. The burgers (with no bun for me) hit the spot every time. My son loves their pizza!

We went to Chilis tonight for Kids Eat Free too, thanks to your link earlier! My favorite thing at chilis is the Buffalo Ranch chicken sandwich. I also really love the half a turkey sandwich and bowl of soup or salad deal. I think it may not even be on the menu in a lot of places but they’ll still do it if you ask. I’m with you, my Emily is not a french fry kid, she normally gets oranges or broccoli with her meal. Tonight she had the oranges

Oooh, picking A dish is hard at Chili’s! I love their tacos and (do they still have) their nachos, oh goodness. Chicken enchilada soup is really yummy too, just so many yummy choices!
And you just can’t forget the paradise pie or molten chocolate cake (I hear they now have it with peanut butter and must try it!). *lol* And now I’m hungry!
