Bass Pro Family Summer Camp

I am overwhelmed by all the free summer activities for kids and families this summer! If you live near a Bass Pro shop you don’t want to miss the Family Summer Camp.

basspro Bass Pro Family Summer Camp

From June 5- July 11, every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday there are free activities at Bass Pro Shops from noon to 6 pm. Activities include: pet safety, fishing basics, archery, shooting basics, animal identification, making s’mores, plants & insects, hiking and much more.

There are also FREE crafts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-5 pm and Saturdays and Sundays from noon-2pm during those dates. Your child can create their own canvas backpack, make a leather keychain, design a birdhouse and more. My kids love visiting Bass Pro, so I am sure these activities will make our visits even more enjoyable.

Boy Scouts may fulfill a requirement for a fishing or rifle  shooting merit badge by attending certain Family Summer Camp workshops. Remember to call your local store and confirm the activities before heading out.

We have one of the largest Bass Pro shops in the nation. It is awesome!!! We visit there often for the activties, Matt’s hunting and fishing supplies, and just to go and look at the fish. Thanks for sharing!!!

Bass pro always has a ton of great things going on for the whole family. Also not sure if you’ve mentioned it in other posts but a weekend family camp is also a fun way to spend time with the family away from the distractions. Mine goes to the texas summer camp Lonehollow in the spring time. It’s a lot of fun!
