Cold Stone Creamery Coupon

Update: This coupon is no longer available, but you can get a free sample of Cold Stone Creamery’s eight layer cake on Tuesday, November 16, 2010.

Confession time:

I don’t like ice cream. I’ve tried, but I just don’t like it. My family however LOVES ice cream, every single person- my mom, my dad, my sister, her husband, my brother, his wife, their kids, Happy Husband, and all the Happy kids, including Cora who screams when you are feeding it to her if you don’t shovel it in fast enough. As a child everyone in my family would fight over who got to sit next to me at Dairy Queen, because they knew I would take 2 bites and give it away.

So this post is for them - A Cold Stone Creamery printable coupon. I think you can print two coupons. $5 for 2 “like it” size create your own, which to me is $5 too much to pay for ice cream, but since I like to help my family out I am letting them know about this coupon. Print it now, because who knows how long it will be available.

If you click on the link or the coupon you will land on the coupons.com home page. The Cold Stone coupon is on page 4 or 5 depending on your location.

It is my opinion that you could feed a family of four with two “Like It” servings, but I digress. Since my kids read this blog I am sure a few minutes after I publish this post they will be coming to me with the coupon and the car keys…

Free Coupon Alert

If you are like me you often wonder what coupons are available online. Many times I will see an item on sale in a grocery flyer and wonder if there is a matching printable.

I was recently introduced to a site called Free Coupon Alert and basically it lists coupons available on the internet. It has cellfire, ecoupons, bricks, smart source, Facebook, and numerous other resources with links directly to the coupon. The site is easy to use and totally free.

The best part is that you don’t have to register, fill out any information, or commit to anything. If you see a coupon you like just click on it to print. So easy!

Colgate Coupons

One of the ways we keep our grocery budget low is by not paying for toiletries. Toothpaste, toilet paper, deodorant, shaving cream, and razors can get really expensive when you have a large family.

I get these items for free (or close to free) by watching the sales, shopping at places like CVS with Extra Care Bucks, and using coupons. It is painful for me to buy a toiletry item at full price.

I just signed up for $8 in coupons for Colgate brand products. Colgate is my favorite toothpaste so I was excited to see these coupons available. To get the coupons you need to sign up on the Colgate site with your information, name/address/ email and click submit. There are no redirects or any other offers to decline or weed through. In about 10 minutes you will receive an email with a link to your coupons.

You cannot print from this page, this is just a screen shot of the coupons I received. To get coupons you must sign up first. I realize that there are not $8 in toothpaste coupons, but rather the total coupon value is $8. Once you click through the link in the email you can print the above coupons plus Ladies Speed Stick, Softsoap, and Murphy’s Oil coupons.

Groupon: Great Gap Coupon

Update: If you click through the link below and get an error it is because the Groupon site is having trouble with all the traffic due to the Gap coupon. Keep trying to sign up, it might take two or three tries but it is worth it!

I wrote about Groupon last month but I wanted to mention it again because today I received a $25 off $50 purchase at Gap coupon in my Groupon email. With back to school right around the corner this is a great deal, especially if you shop the clearance rack. If you haven’t signed up yet, what are you waiting for? My friend Amy got a coupon for 50% admission to her local zoo last month, it is such a great deal!

You can read my Groupon review below.

Groupon
Have you heard of Groupon? I heard about it a few months ago and thought I would pass it along to you. Sign up (for free) and receive one email each day containing a coupon for a local restaurant, attraction, zoo, museum, sporting event and more. I signed up and have never received a single piece of spam. If I don’t need the coupon I delete and move on. Groupon is a great way to find local deals and save some money.

Safeway Yoplait Deal

I realize I usually post Commissary deals, but this one was too good to pass up!

Safeway is running a special, $0.40 per Yoplait yogurt cup. I usually buy yogurt in larger containers, but my kids love the flavors that are only available in the individual size and they are great for traveling and lunches! Coupons.com has a $0.40 off 6 coupon available to print, and there were also two coupons in Sunday’s paper, $0.40 off 6 and $0.50 off 8. There is no limit as to how many you can buy at Safeway so you can really stock up. Since Safeway doubles coupons that means each yogurt is $0.26! That is a big savings.

The Commissary also runs Yoplait sales every few weeks so this is a good coupon to print even if you don’t live near a Safeway.

Discount Movie Tickets

One thing my family loves to do is go to the movies. Taking eight people to the movies is not a frugal outing, so we probably only see one movie a year (matinee) and watch the rest on Netflix or hit the free summer movies down the street.

I recently signed up for a program called Weekly Cinema. When you sign up you get a free movie ticket, and then you get four (I think, it might be three I am trying to figure it out) tickets a month for $15.99. That means you are paying $4 or $5 for a movie ticket. Around here prices for a matinee are $7 or $8 and catching a movie after 7pm costs $11!

My children are getting to the age where all their friends go to the movies on the weekends so this is a great way for them to go to the movies with their friends and not spend all their (or my) hard earned money. At $5 a ticket you can have a date night for ten bucks!

When you sign up you have to give your name, address, email, and credit/debit card info and you are charged $0.15. You will immediately receive a code for your free ticket in your email. You redeem this code at Fandango and it is good for tickets up to $14. Every month (after the free trial) you are billed $15.99 and you receive your ticket codes on the first of the month. There is no contract and you can cancel at any time.

I would love to hear from anyone who has participated in the program. So far so good, but I always like to try things out before I recommend them to my readers/ friends.
