Cora’s Quilt

April 27, 2009 · 38 comments

Remember my friend who helped clean my room and make a baby sling? Well she totally outdid herself by showing up at my house on Saturday with a gift for Cora.

Coras Quilt

I’d link to her blog, but she doesn’t have one. She must be too busy helping people clean and making them gorgeous quilts to have time to blog.

Coras Quilt

She even quilted Cora’s name in the quilt.

Coras Quilt

As you can see Cora loves her quilt almost as much as I do.

Too sweet. I just love newborn grins and can’t wait till our little one arrives this fall. Maybe it’s Mommy hormones – but I had to call my crew over to see the sweet pictures. Both my daughters were “ahhh” and “ohhhh” when I showed them this picture, and little Joel got so excited about the baby! He loves to talk to “his” baby and says it is now his best friend.

What a beautiful quilt!! That sure makes a perfect pretty background for pics of baby Cora … had you not started Kit and Cora, you could do Cora and the quilt as she’s just barely bigger than a square. :-)

I love this quilt. Did she machine quilt it? I love how it has her name in it. is it crib size or twin?

[Reply]

29 TheHappyHousewife April 28, 2009 at 12:46 pm

The quilt is bigger than a crib size, but smaller than a twin. I haven’t measured though, so I don’t know exactly how big it is.
