5 Minute Recipe: Skillet Tuna Pasta

Scroll to the end for a great giveaway!

If you are like me you probably have experienced those evenings when dinner just doesn’t seem to come together. Rather than getting in the car and visiting the drive-thru or calling your favorite Papa (Johns), how about throwing together a delicious and fast homemade meal?

A few weeks ago Ronzoni sent me some of their 3 1/2 minute pasta to try. Now, you know how I love pasta, so I was a bit skeptical that this pasta would taste good, considering it takes less than 4 minutes to cook. I put it to the test last week and here’s what happened.

Considering you have to get the water boiling the meal actually takes about 13 minutes, but a 13 minute home cooked meal is still better than drive thru burgers and fries!

Our go to quick meals are either breakfast for dinner or soup (most likely ramen noodles if the kids have a say =) ) and sandwiches

  2. Sheri says:

My hubby cooks more often and faster than me {and oftentimes batter}. When we are crunched for time, he makes philly steak sandwiches with the frozen steak slices from Wal Mart, canned mushrooms, butter, mayonnaise and melted cheese on hoagie rolls. Yum!! We always try to have these ingredients on hand!!

  3. Emily says:

I’d make spaghetti with the quick cook pasta – without the pasta I’d make pizza burgers (buns, pizza sauce, mozzarella).

  4. Stephanie says:

I love to make quesidillas for a quick meal or breakfast for dinner: cheesy eggs. Scrambled eggs with shredded cheese (ham & veggies if we had it).

  5. Cindy Stephens says:

I think that I would use the same recipe but substitute cooked chicken in the place of tuna since my family isn’t fond of tuna. Also, probably throw in more cheese:)
