I LOVE pasta. Seriously, I love it! I could eat it every single night. The first real meal I ever made was fettuccine alfredo. I loved it, my husband loved it, and I made it several times a week… for years. Over time, we got tired of plain old fettuccine alfredo and I learned to make different types of pasta dishes. If you check out my recipe page you will notice that I love to make pasta! From baked ziti to pink pasta, noodles are on our table several nights a week.
I was thrilled when Bertolli asked if I would like to try making my own pasta. I couldn’t wait to receive my Imperia Pasta Machine.
I made my first batch of homemade pasta and loved it! It tasted better than any restaurant pasta I have ever had. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to make pasta as well.

My families favorite is garlic spaghetti, but I have to say, I would eat Manicotti any day of the week, but nobody else will, so I only get it when I go out to eat.
It’s hard to name one pasta dish favorite, but homemade macaroni and cheese is probably it. So many fond memories of my grandmother making it when I was growing up.
One of our favorites is Fettucine Alfredo. I have a recipe from an international cookbook that tastes just like Olive Garden’s sauce. Mmmm….!

I’ve always thought making homemade pasta was more effort than it was worth – so you post was quite interesting!
I love making homemade pasta! It’s also a great way to sneak some veggies into my kids’ diets- we love spinach, carrot and sweet potato noodles. The colors are great and the taste sublime. I do everythingby hand and would LOVE a pasta maker!

My favorite pasta would definitely have to be tortellini. Any type of tortellini. It’s dense and filling, therefore cheap. I’ve never made my own, but I’d love to give it a try!!

We go through phases. Currently, we can’t get enough simple bow ties with marinara, mushrooms, and mozzerella (add pepperonis to my dh’s bowl).
I love lasagna, but homemade mac & cheese comes in a very close second!
I would love to win this! Being able to make pasta from scratch would be so nice, since my kiddos have food allergies and can’t eat traditional wheat pasta.

I’m making my husband’s and my favorite pasta for his birthday dinner tonight- cannelloni al forno. I can never find actual cannelloni noodles, though, so I’m using manicotti. If only I had a pasta machine…

You mean I have to narrow down my pasta preferences to just one? Impossible! How about two…in winter I love any pasta served alla sorrentina style (baked with tomatoes and yummy fresh mozzarella cheese) and in the summer I prefer pennete al salmone, pasta with a light pink sauce and tasty bits of salmon.
Now I’m hungry.

Oh man – I love everything pasta, too. I make a chicken parmesan with alfredo sauce and penne pasta my kids and hubby LOVE!

I love all kinds of pasta but one of my favs if pasta with broccoli, roasted pine nuts, grilled chicken & a little goat cheese!!!!!! Homemade would make it all the better!

I just recently made pasta for the first time as well and I could not believe the difference in the taste, amazing. It was a little time consuming considering I did it all by hand rolling it out and cutting it. But it would be great to have a pasta machine! The only difference in my recipe than yours was a Tbl of milk and a dash of pepper, I know what I will be making this week! Before I forget my favorite is lasagna, LOVE IT!
