my son loves pasta so much he can eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. since he doesn’t like eating vegetables, i use cannelloni pasta sometimes. i just mix chopped vegetables like carrots, mushroom, broccoli and mix it with ground chicken and tomato sauce/paste. i stuff it inside the cannelloni, sprinkle it with diff kinds of cheeses and bake it. he does eat it, vegetable and all

I get weird about spaghetti too…I think it’s just boring. I much prefer a different type of noodle (just not angel hair).

I totally agree with you in regards to the oven! Every summer I get weary of using the grill. This year I gave in early and started using the oven again. It makes for a rather warm house but it’s been so worth it!

We bought our house in April and the ancient oven had a problem with the heating element (it would overheat – way, way overheat.)
Our insurance came in June to fix it and they are STILL fixing it. I’ve been without an oven since April!!

I miss it so, so much!
But have discovered lots of great oven-free recipes

Sounds like a yummy week.
For me, up here in MA, it hasn’t been so much the heat but the humidity. It has been awful! Thank goodness it broke and we are down into the the mid 70′s all week with very low humidity levels!! : )

Chicken tetrazzini is a favorite in our house. The funny thing is we rarely have spaghetti! Not sure why they don’t want it.

Another comment on the spaghetti….have you tried it in another dish? Such as, Chicken/Turkey Tetrazzini, Chicken Spaghetti, Alfredo, or even Baked Spaghetti? I know we can tire out very quickly from basic spaghetti and sauce.
