I have a new favorite “go to” recipe, Crock Pot Salsa Chicken. I’ve made this dish three times in the past week, once for my family and twice for others. It is so easy and inexpensive. I found a great deal on salsa at the commissary last week, but you can also use homemade salsa in this recipe.
Now that soccer season has started I’ve been using my crock pot several times a week and one morning sent it to work with my husband for a pot luck. Of course that was the morning I had planned to start a meal in the crock pot so I had to make other dinner plans.
I mentioned this on Facebook and quickly learned that many of you own several crock pots! My whole life I’ve only had one crock pot, but I guess I’m in the minority. My only question is where do you store them all?

I, too, am a military wife. Do you have any dinner ideas that will feed a large family and also keep hubby’s uniforms fitting well?
I think I’m to blame for the growing waist line! We have 4 kids, ages 5 and under. My poor Marine is suffering from a wife that doubles as a great cook! He doesn’t complain, but I know it will catch up with him. I just found this site yesterday as I was meal planning. THANK YOU! My husband glanced at it and is also excited about my find. We already added you on facebook and this morning, I was encouraged by the verse you posted. Too often, we think of God as a giver in His blessings, and we forget how much He can bless in taking away!
The lemon poppy seed bread looks delicious!
We store them under cabinets, in closets and on top of kitchen cabinets (the are not enclosed). Who really needs to put baskets or plants up there anyway.
Wow..your menu sounds yummy! I am going to check out your crock pot salsa chicken…we love salsa and we love chicken so I can’t imagine not loving this recipe.
I have a new crock pot recipe that I am trying on my menu plan this week..it’s crock pot lasagna. I am anxious to try it out!
Man! There’s lots of crockpotting going on around MPM this week. I love it! I’m using mine for two meals. Your recipes definitely look like things I’d love to try. Thanks for sharing!
As I type this I have the chicken in the crock pot. Still unsure if we’re going to do soup or put it on corn shells but can’t wait. It smells delicious.
Wow, crock pot lasagna! I’d love to hear how that turns out.
The Salsa chicken recipe sounds amazing! Oh, and I am the proud owner of five crockpots. All different sizes and shapes. I even take a crockpot on vacation and camping with me to use for quick and easy meals.
Crockpot lasagna is easy and so delish! I think my dh liked it better than my usual lasagna, and I always have to make 2 full dishes of that, be side he wolfs it down. I need s bigger crockpot so I can make a bigger lasagna! I love how deep it is when made in the crockpot!
Yummy sounding stuff here…..think I’ll bookmark ya!
