Menu Plan

We’ve started school and soccer so things are going to get busy around here for the next two months. It’s always challenging to balance healthy meals with nights away from home. There will probably be lots of crock pot and freezer meals over the next several weeks. If you have any great crock pot suggestions I’d love for you to share them!

That Tuna Noodle Casserole looks yummy! I might change the soup to chicken though because DH does NOT like celery, plus I already have a can! How could I freeze it? Put it all together and then just throw it in a dish and reheat, then add cheese?

some crock pot recipes we like are (and make almost monthly): bbq chicken( then use it to make bbq chicken pizza the next night), pot roast, chicken w/ frozen stir fry veggies & broth, slow cooker chicken posole, potatoes & butternut squash (a favorite, although I didn’t expect it to be), Aloha pineapple chicken (served with rice), taco soup…happy to share any of the recipes if you are interested :)

  6. Great looking menu this week. I’ll have to try the Crockpot French Dip sandwiches next week. My Crockpot’s getting a workout this week now that kids are back in school and sports practices are starting.
