I love this idea. I can customize a cake to each kids favorite cookie and ice cream flavor. Awesome. The best part is no baking required.

I have done something similar to this. I used Ice cream sandwiches and cool whip. along w/ your favorite cookie or candybar crushed. So good for a Summer birthday cake!

My mom has made something similar to this for years… she always called it Cinder Cake (not sure where the name originated from!). She usually adds in chopped walnuts, as well! Super great treat for summer cookouts as long as you have freezer room until time to eat!

This looks yummy! Maybe I’ll use it Sunday for my daughter’s 3oth birthday or maybe we’ll do whoopie pie idea. She loves them and think we’ll just stack them for decor , maybe a candle or two? Fun!
